Kuselan

The film revolves around a villager, who had shared a strong friendship with a popular cinema actor in their youth. However due to their different pursuit in careers they eventually are forced to part ways, one becoming a national figure, the other, a village barber. Decades later, the actor returns to the village to participate in his film's shooting. Whilst the entire village become excited about the prospect of seeing the actor, the barber fears that his old friend would have forgotten him and would neglect him. The story explores the pressures of friendship.

Dasavatharam

The movie revolves around chaos theory and the butterfly effect, bringing together the lives of several individuals during the week prior to the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami. Primarily, the story revolves around a research scientist who loses a biological weapon of mass destruction in the United States of America. The weapon is also sought by an ex-CIA officer for his own use. Thus begins a cat and mouse chase throughout several countries, as the scientist and the ex-CIA officer vie for the possession of the weapon. The proceedings are affected by several characters and their issues which disrupt the weapon from going to the hands of the ex-CIA officer. The story occurs within a week building up to the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami.

Uliyin Osai

Kalaignar’s ‘Sarapalam Samundi’ has taken the film form of ‘Uliyin Osai.’

King Rajaraja Chozha wants the future generations to know of the mighty Chola empire, so he starts work on building the Big Temple at Thanjavur. The job of carving dancing images on the walls of the temple is entrusted to sculptor Perindakshan.

To get a dancing girl as model for this project proves to be a big headache for the sculptor. He even finds faults in the dance of dancer Muthunagai. He eventually falls for the beauty and dance of the granddaughter of a goatherd Muthatty and accepts her as his model. The background of this girl as well as the project of sculpting the dance poses into stone, form the main lifeline of the film.

Vallamai Thaaraayo

The story of Vallamai Tharayo is about a happy going girl Nanditha (Chaya Singh) who is in love with her aunt’s son (Srikanth Deva) right from her childhood. However, as the years pass by, Naditha’s parents (Anandraj and Kuyili) object their love due to internal family issues and force her to marry Anand (Parthiban). Out of force, Nanditha enters into nuptials with Anand, but her heart is still with her aunt’s son. Soon she plans to get divorced from Anand and get re-united with him. Well, with accordance to her plans, she accomplishes in getting divorce from the innocent husband Anand.

But it’s completely shocking for Nanditha to see that the gentleman is already married someone and sooner she realizes the true love and affinity of Anand. But her egoistic nature obstructs Naditha from joining hands with Anand.

The Last Legion
